when life feels dry

As many of you heard via my sermon in August, I have had a bit of a year of trials - ok, that’s an understatement - deaths, ambulance to my house, hospital stay, relationships difficulties to pick a few. Basically it has been a time of drought but also a time of growth. It's not been easy, but I have changed and thrived.

How do you grow through a drought? You hold on to the water. You seek out what God is teaching you through this. You pray. You listen to others and Him. You hang on tight for the ride. To hear more tips and tricks for those seasons, listen to the sermon.

Always remember: You have Jesus in you. You have the Holy Spirit who is in you. Wherever you go… whether it's at work, at home, in your neighborhood, to your doctor, or lying on a hospital bed, you bring Jesus into the room. He is there. You are changing not only you, but the people around you even through the trials. What a different aspect to life! What a joy!
